Director Amanda Pletz has been appointed to the P.R.I.M.E. Finance Panel of Experts. The Panel of Recognised International Market Experts (P.R.I.M.E.) in Finance is a carefully vetted international group representing the single greatest source of collective knowledge and experience in finance, market practice, and dispute resolution from 37 jurisdictions around the world.
P.R.I.M.E. Finance was launched in January 2012 to answer to a vital market need and an important complement to global efforts at regulatory reform. With around 300 outstanding individuals including judges, scholars, central bankers, regulators, representatives from private practice, and market participants, P.R.I.M.E. Finance works towards the goal of fostering financial market stability through the promotion of a more sophisticated approach to financial market dispute resolution.

Ms. Pletz has 20 years of experience applying economic and financial analyses to transfer pricing, international tax, and other issues involving litigation, arbitration, regulation, and subsidy control (state aid). She has directed numerous projects involving transfer pricing, economic and financial risk modelling and valuation across a broad range of industries including but not limited to private banking and asset management, fintech, private equity, real estate, insurance, trading, and broader banking sectors. Ms. Pletz is a trusted advisor on capital structure issues; cash pooling; pricing of loans, hybrid instruments, guarantees, captive insurance arrangements; in addition to leasing and loans, and other complex asset valuations. She has also authored a number of expert reports in the context of litigation and arbitration matters.
Ms. Pletz has been recognised in Corporate Tax as a Global Elite Thought Leader by Who's Who Legal (WWL) for several years and is ranked in Who's Who Legal Corporate Tax–Experts and Who's Who Legal Experts–Financial Advisory and Valuation–Corporate Tax Experts directories. She is the co-editor of Applying the Arm’s Length Principle to Intra Group Financial Transactions: A Reference Guide, an immeasurably valuable reference guide for tax practitioners, tax administrations, and tax scholars in developing standards and policies dealing with intra-group financing issues.
