New York City, New York—NERA is pleased to announce Senior Managing Director James Mellsop, Director John Scalf, and Senior Consultant Veronica Postal’s co-authored article “Data at the Frontline: The Economic Theories of Data-Centric Antitrust Enforcement” has been nominated for the 2025 Antitrust Writing Awards in the General Economics business article category.

The article, which was published in the February 2024 issue of Competition Policy International’s Antitrust Chronicle, discusses the evolving guidelines from the FTC and DOJ and offers insight into how we might navigate the balance between fostering innovation and ensuring competitive fairness in today’s increasingly data-centric markets.

The Antitrust Writing Awards, organized by Concurrences and George Washington University, recognize the best antitrust, law, and economics articles of the previous year to promote scholarship in competition.
