Youfei Chang specializes in litigation and advisory matters in securities, finance, and mass torts. She has supported expert testimony with analysis of market efficiency in securities class action claims, the response to news in the market for digital tokens as part of a regulatory action, and damages in disputes over the servicing of residential mortgages. Dr. Chang’s mass tort work includes the econometric modelling of asbestos settlements and verdicts and the estimation of liabilities associated with In re: National Prescription Opiate Litigation using large datasets exceeding 300 GB.

Dr. Chang was formerly a faculty member at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she taught graduate level financial accounting courses. Prior to joining NERA, she was an assurance and taxation practitioner at a Big Four firm. She holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate in Illinois.
