Kate Eyre specializes in competition, antitrust, and regulatory economics. She provides expert advice and economic analysis to clients in a range of complex matters related to mergers, market investigations, litigation, and regulation in the communications, tech, energy, retail, and finance sectors.

Ms. Eyre’s experience includes economic analysis for mergers in the telecommunications, supermarkets, and manufacturing sectors; profitability analysis in the context of market studies; advice relating to litigation and the estimation of damages, including as part of a team quantifying damages during a large litigation against a digital platform in Australia; and advice on the regulatory tools used to incentivize innovation.

Ms. Eyre also has significant experience in communications markets, having been involved in the analysis of issues relating to the competition implications of telecommunications industry mergers, the regulation of mobile telephone and broadband services, and the valuation of the social benefits from access to telecommunications technologies. She has also worked extensively in the regulatory space to advise clients across the electricity, gas, and transport sectors.
