Leonie Janisch is an energy economist who advises public and private clients with a focus on the electricity and gas sectors across Europe. Her project experience includes arbitrations, auction support, impact assessments, and due diligence in the electricity and renewable energy sectors.

Ms. Janisch advises on economic issues related to energy market developments and the regulation of renewable and conventional energy generation and networks. Her work spans economic analyses of regulatory frameworks, the estimation of regulatory metrics, and the financial modelling of auction bids. Ms. Janisch regularly advises in due diligences across the energy sector. Most recently, she supported a financial investor with an economic analysis of the regulatory frameworks and risks for offshore wind energy in multiple European countries. She has also supported clients in arbitrations focused on renewable and low carbon energy, including offshore wind, biomass, and nuclear power.
