On 17 October 2007, NERA Vice President Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska addressed the New York City Bar Association Committee on Futures and Derivatives Regulation. Dr. Brown-Hruska, a former Commissioner of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, delivered a presentation entitled "Futures Market Manipulation, Jurisdiction, and the Costs and Benefits of Functional Regulation." The meeting was hosted at the office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City.
