On Wednesday, 8 February, Dr. Andrew Stivers will join other experts in a webinar hosted by The Federalist Society, “FTC: Cost/Benefit Analysis of Proposed Rules—A Deeper Dive.” Panelists will explore how a federal agency undertakes the cost-benefit analysis for proposed rules, comparing independent agencies to those subject to OIRA review, and provide practical tips for lawyers and economists working on agency rulemaking comments.
Dr. Stivers specializes in the economics of consumer protection and privacy. Prior to joining NERA he was a senior official in the FTC’s Bureau of Economics where he oversaw economic analysis of consumer protection and privacy matters.
