On behalf of the City of San Antonio, you are cordially invited to a FOCUS GROUP of business owners who provide Construction, Architecture & Engineering, Professional Servies, Other Services, and/or Goods & Supplies. The sessions are part of the City’s Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) Disparity Causation Analysis Study.

These important sessions provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences and insights regarding both the opportunities and the challenges involved in doing business or attempting to do business with the City of San Antonio and in the San Antonio region generally.

The focus groups are part of the business interview component of the Disparity Study. Your insights and experiences will help to identify potential revisions to the City’s Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program and support the strategic objectives of open access to the City’s contracting and purchasing opportunities. Your comments will be kept strictly confidential according to established legal and policy standards. No information attributable to you will be included in the final report for the Study.

The City has engaged NERA Economic Consulting to conduct this independent third-party study. The focus groups will be held at the Central Library Auditorium, 600 Soledad, San Antonio, TX 78205, on Wednesday, May 6th & Thursday, May 7th, 2015. Refreshments will be served.
